FGED Conferences

The FGED Society held an annual scientific conference and tutorials at different international venues between 1999-2013. FGED also organized smaller meetings to address critical issues concerning data exchange and reproducibility with selected groups generating large amounts of high-throughput functional genomics data.

Participation at the annual meetings was welcomed from all members of the scientific community, and attracted scientists involved in doing functional genomics experiments, data analysis, or interested in data sharing issues and standards development. The conferences typically featured tutorials providing training on analysis methods, software, or online resources.

Below is a list of annual meeting dates and locations for past FGED Society conferences. All meetings from 2010 and prior were held under the name "MGED Society" (see History).
