Darianna Everett is a singer songwriter producer from Montreal Canada.
Currently working on her debut EP scheduled to be released in early 2024, she had a first encounter with commercial success in 2013 with Cherokee on their single Don’t Matter, later remixed by FKJ.
The following year, she collaborated with Darius on the single “Hot Hands” from his “Romance EP”, for which she got a diamond record.
Passionate about sound science and sound healing, she skillfully blends bio acoustics with effective songwriting. Her unique approach to vocal arrangements and harmonies, heavily inspired by gospel choirs, disco and film scores are backed with an eclectic driving rhythm section, taking root in afro-pop, r&b, and funk.
Inspired by artists like Jeff Buckley, Johnny Clegg, The Neptunes, Luther Vandross & her favourite show Riverdance. Her music has you either crying or dancing on the dance floor. No in-between, poignant or bombastic.
First single from her upcoming EP to be released late 2023.
