Sat-B is a Burundian music recording artist, singer, songwriter, dancer and performer, Sat-B
was born in Burundi – Bujumbura. Some of his popular songs include Satura Amabafle, Too
Much, Feel Love and No Love. Celebrated or hated, he became in a few years the stallion to
which Burundian hip hop now tries to measure himself without ever reaching it.
After the release of “Satura Amabafle”, Sat-B was nominated in the Best Male East Africa
category at the 2014 KORA AWARDS,
2016, SAT-B Nominated in the Most Promising Act of the Year category in AFRIMA
HIS BIG BREAK
The multi-talented Sat-B started doing the local Hip Hop in the group Wanavesi Kikosi before
launching his professional career in 2009. If Sat-B reaches this state of grace, it is because he
has never remained motionless. Always at the forefront of his art, he never stopped daring, to
test, to challenge himself to hit harder at each exit. Announced by the single "Inkuru
y'Ukuri" in 2010, a grandiose ego-trip to the audacious production, the album in which it
appears does not derogate from the rule and once again clears the ground unpublished, mixing
unexpected experiences and advanced productions.
Crossed by unpublished vocal effects and musical tracks still untouched, a term that echoes
the hip hop of Sat-b, also pure and uncut, reveals its complexity over the place, amazes and
seduced by his passion, this an unwavering rage at the service of creativity that now seems
limitless. Putting its title on the line as if to confirm its leading position, the irrepressible
meteor of Burundian Hip Hop & RNB once again delivers titles of rare coherence,
inventiveness and technicality.
HE DOES IT ALL ON HIS OWN
Besides recording music, Sat-B writes songs for himself and other artists as well. His
inspiration comes from listening to contemporary African music and the Afro Beat genre. He
has collaborated with Big Fizzo, Yoya, Kidum, Cindy some hit songs that are credited with
putting him on the map. Besides music, Sat is also a CEO of EMPIRE AVENUE company.
