Composer for Film | TV | Games
Jelle Dittmar is a Dutch composer and musician, who has dedicated himself to music for film, TV, and videogames.
His musical style is inspired by various film composers such as Alexandre Desplat, Benjamin Wallfisch, Hans Zimmer, and John Williams. Artists such as Imagine Dragons, Genesis, and Queen have also been a source of inspiration to him.
He had started his musical career as a stagehand at a number of festivals and events in the Netherlands, but he discovered that he preferred to make music himself and that he enjoyed performing on stage.
From 2018 onwards, he has been active as a composer for various publishers such as Atom Music, BMG Production Music, and Warner Chappell.
His music has been used internationally in TV shows, documentaries, and films such as ‘The Voice of Holland’, ‘Utopia 2’, and the Netflix hit series Dark Desire.
Starting August 2019, he has composed the soundtrack for his first official film, ‘De Schooltuin’, directed by Mark Verkerk (Dutch Oscar nominee 2007).
