Ande is a Belgian solo black metal project founded by Jim in early 2015. Conceived as a deeply personal connection to the enduring spirit of black metal—past, present, and future—Ande channels raw emotion and artistic individuality into its sound.
Drawing influence from the raw ferocity of second-wave black metal, the ethereal layers of atmospheric black metal, and the introspective depth of post-black metal, Ande crafts a sonic experience both evocative and immersive.
The name "Ande" is derived from an archaic Dutch term, embodying profound and primal emotions such as repentance, passion, and anger—a fitting reflection of the project's expressive core.
