A rare talent for his flows, Strategy has released music with Dub Phizix and Skeptical on “Buffalo Charge” and “Marka” – both songs blew up with millions of streams worldwide and support from Annie Mac, David Rodigan, MistaJam, Friction, Skrillex Benji B, as well as touring several times internationally. This diversity of sound would often see him booked at festivals to play on both the hip-hop and electronic music stages. Both Strategy and Dub Phizix became regulars at BBC Radio 1 doing multiple residencies. Strategy also founded the Manchester-based event ‘Dub Phizix and Strategy’s Well Good Do’, taking both projects to festival stages at Outlook Festival and Hospitality in the Park.
Turning his hand to producing, Strategy released EPs “Lanterns” on Exit Records and “The Adelphi Lads Club” on Tru Thoughts, which saw Strategy collaborating with his three year old daughter Everley on the poignant “The World Is Mine”. More recently Strategy joined forces with grime MC Footsie and producer Cimm on “Black Boxes”, in reference to Blackout Tuesday on social media, with all sales proceeds being donated to the Stephen Lawrence Trust.
An NTS resident and regular at Keep Hush (the community-driven underground answer to Boiler Room), "Premium Grease" see's Strategy return to his kingdom, and is the latest chapter in his consistently impressive career.
