Zosia is a Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and producer who creates dark pop music laced with cinematic sounds. Using her strong vocals and dynamic production, Zosia has built a world of her own filled with vulnerability and resilience. Her single “7 Suns” was lauded by Earmilk for its “captivating cinematic soundscapes and soaring vocals.” While her lyrics often focus on battling the anxieties of living in a chaotic world, the songwriter explores meaning and truth in her intricately introspective music.
Zosia formed the idea for Symptoms of Nature after taking an experimental college course on Communication and Death. Not surprisingly, discussing death for hours each week soon triggered a deep existential anxiety. For the final project, Zosia channeled this distress into "Survival," an uplifting song about impermanence which would become the concluding track on her EP. Its lyrics challenge those philosophers who believe we merely cease to exist after death. “Survival” argues that because we can never know for certain what death holds for us, we are free to believe that we live on — if only in our art.
