"A refreshing tour de force off the fusion highway, an acrobatic feat by an Argentinian artist already recognized for her talent and skill to navigate between European baroque music and south-american traditional rhythms."
LES INROCKS Paris
“Diana Baroni lures those who listen to her like a siren, with her singing and her seductive way of playing the flute. She is supported by a brilliant team of guitar and percussion players, whose set of ancient and modern instruments reflects her music’s rich and strange eclectism. The whole is as ecstatic celebration of the universal power of song and dance: resist it at your peril!”
BBC MUSIC MAGAZINE London
Originally from Argentina, Diana Baroni – flautist and singer – is constantly searching for the next musical fusion, never made uncomfortable by borders in order to explore the music, the treasures and the limits, like a great explorer.
Diana is a founding member of Café Zimmermann, a highly acclaimed and awarded French baroque ensemble. For more than ten years, she performed next to them as a soloist, in the most prestigious festivals around the world.
Her musical curiosity led her exploring other horizons, creating more innovative projects and collaborations, giving her the opportunity to find new musical partners like Brodsky Quartet, Tunde Jegede, Jasser Haj Youssef or Las Hermanas Caronni.
