Kirill Pavlyashik, also known as Kirill Polar Lights or Kipol, grew up in Kaliningrad, the westernmost city in Russia. Kirill began to delve into electronic music thanks to the weekly radio program Sprite-club, where he got acquainted with the work of Anton Kubikov, a famous dj and one of the members of the SCSI-9 collective, who had a profound impact on Kirill's future work with his sound. In his music, Kirill strives to create an atmosphere of peace in combination with a dance component.
He has released releases on labels such as Pro-Tez, Apparel, Electronica, What's in the box, Multivitamin-records. On account of his performances with dj-sets in the Moscow clubs Shanti and Colors, in the St. Petersburg club Efir. In addition, Kirill often performs in his hometown, participating in various events as a DJ and musician. At the moment, Kirill is writing polyphonic algorithmic music in his main solo project called “Kipol”.
