The Banshees formed in the Autumn of 2018 in Liverpool, England.
Formed by Singer/Songwriter Vinny Pereira and Session Guitarist Paul Anthony Holligan.
20 years in the music industry, Vinny has been in several bands and has supported the likes of Chris Helme (The Seahorses) and The Bluetones.
Paul was a Session Guitarist for Pete Best and has supported such artists as Noel Gallagher and members of the Manchester band Inspiral Carpets.
In May 2019 The Banshees recorded their debut EP 'Self Medicated' at Ark Studios in Liverpool with Steve Powell and by September they were back in the studio recording their second EP ‘Tell Me Everything’ with the very established Liverpool Studio 'Motor Museum' with producer Al Groves and Loic Gaillard. The first single "It's Alright" from ‘Tell Me Everything’ was released 4th March 2020 and received great coverage from BBC Introducing (Dave Monks), Louder Than War, Northern Exposure and King of Tinnitist Canada's Most-Followed Music Critic Darryl Sterdan and also played at Anfield (LFC)
They followed up with their next hit ‘Tell Me Everything’ released as a single on 1st April and again, receiving play from BBC, a feature on BT TV Music and reviews everywhere!
Recently worked on a project with Benumu and Jagermeister.
