Hailing from la Rochelle, Peter Raw is a French DJ/Producer residing in Paris. Saxophone player
since age 6, he is admitted to the conservatory before moving to the South of France. It’s there that
he’ll discover electronic music and starts producing under the moniker Mr Kate. His influences run
from House to Jazz, as well as Hip-Hop and Breakbeat.
After a few years at the head of alternative party collective « Providance », he moves to Paris and
founds the « Run With Us » parties at the Batofar.
For several years he plays alongside his guests. Among them are international spearheads and
talented local artists: Moomin, Iron Curtis, Andy Hard, Akufen, Smallpeople, Boo Williams, La
Mamies... Today, Peter Raw dedicates his time to producing, with beautiful releases forthcoming on
independents french labels Beat X Changers & Sounds Benefit.
