He grew up in the newfangled New York City hip-hop scene as a fixture DJ in the 90's hip hop era. The electronic music scene never knew what was about to hit it in the 2000's when audiences couldn't get enough of his distinctive style. Diezel's mastery of music demands movement through an exchange of sound and energy.
The name DIEZEL translates to strength, hard work, and heart - all of which invigorate listeners through hypnotic beats, composition and electricity.
Diezel has worked with esteemed labels such as Stereo Productions, Nervous Records, Magna Recordings, Phunk Traxx and 1980 Recordings. He remixed "4 Letter Word" (featuring Jim Kerr of Simple Minds) by Phunk Investigation, which recently peaked Apple Music techno charts at number four.
He's performed at one of the largest EDM festivals in the Caribbean, as well as venues like LAVO NYC, AM Southampton, Studio Square, Up & Down, Amadeus, Cavali NYC, and the sleek Brooklyn-based venue Bogart House.
Diezel is now collaborating with iconic music artists to bring his beats to venues all over the world. He is also expanding his artistic range to collaborate more with vocalists and explore other dance music contexts.
