A melting pot of acoustic and electronic sounds, flamboyant colours
and perfumed of different cultural and musical influences.
Born from the desire to improvise and transcend in dance and trance
with an eclectic instrumental palette (drum machines, effects,
keyboards etc), this project breaks barriers and social conventions.
Originally from Reunion Island, this drummer, Dilo, the founding
artist of EMB, delivers syncopated and explosive rhythms behind
effervescent synthesisers to tell tales and create sonic atmospheres
that portray her stories.
She also takes inspiration from life experiences and elaborates a
musical polaroid that unveils her personality.
The heart of this project lies in the merging, blending and
amalgamating sounds as much as cultures, from melodies and
traditional songs of Reunion Island to the beat and stories of Latin
America.
