A pillar of the French melodic techno scene, Joachim Pastor made his debut with the Hungry Music label alongside NTO and Worakls. Viewing music as timeless and inspired by Daft Punk, Sonata Arctica, and Jean-Michel Jarre, he became interested in sound textures and the possibilities offered by machines. Through his experiments, Joachim became a recognized electronic music producer with a clearly identifiable artistic touch: classical, orchestral, and cinematic in the arrangement of his harmonies, precise and direct in his melodies. A true perfectionist and detail-oriented, he shaped his signature by incorporating distinctive arpeggios and cultivated a sound that is uniquely his own—hypnotic, refined, and nostalgic.
In 2020, he signed with the electronic giant Armada Music and released his first album, "Greater Message" a project marked by pop-tinged tracks and more prominent vocals. The following year, Joachim Pastor released several singles and remixes (including "Season" produced by NTO and French79, and remixed by Joachim, Joris Delacroix, Romain Garcia, and Stereoclip); before composing the original soundtrack for the documentary "The Final Season" which chronicles the final season of Sébastien Ogier, a multi-time World Rally Champion. Through this soundtrack, titled "The Winning Line" Joachim Pastor accurately captures the emotional whirlwind tied to the success of an athlete’s life, from suspense and doubt to victory and fulfillment.
Today, Joachim Pastor's music is listened to by more than a million unique listeners each month, and the DJ-producer performs on stages around the world: Dour, Tomorrowland, Paleo, Solidays, Delta... 2025 announces great things with new music, new tech and new Pastoral adventures.
