Ivana Rašić a.k.a. Sajsi MC, claims that she never intended to become a musician until she met MC Deki Respect to whom she rapped some lines that she wrote which he liked.
Sajsi MC started her career in her native Serbia, accompanied by a full band. As Sajsi developed her sound, she dropped the band moving toward a more electronic approach leaving only Ivana and her sister, Tijana. Even though Sajsi started rapping in 2002 her debut album “Daleko je Dizni” was released in 2010 with singles “BMX” and “Srpska Doroti ide u Oz”. Both singles topping the regional Hip Hop and Alternative charts. It wasn’t until the collaboration with DJ and producer Damjan Eltech on the single “Mama” that Sajsi gained mainstream attention. Singles “Roze tašnica” and “Lajkiram” followed where Sajsi MC and Tijana united with DJ BKO- completing their current lineup. The now established trio released a number of successful singles such as “Antifa kučke“, “Nadrkano hodanje“, “Gledaj“ and the now legendary EP “Pokvarenica“.
Sajsi MC frequently collaborates with other artists such as The Beatshakers, Krankšvester, Salier Del Flores and last but definitely not least one of Croatia's most popular Pop Folk singers, Severina on her hit single “Silikoni“.
Sajsi MC is known for her outrageous and powerful live performances. Some of her most noted performances include Exit Festival, Guča and Belgrade Beer Fest captivating tens of thousands of concert goers!
Sajsi MC released her second full album “Rad, rad i samo bleja“ in January 2018 for Lampshade Media with singles “Nesanica“, “Znam šta ste hteli“, “Clap Clap“ and “Denserke“ holding top positions in the regional digital charts. Her newest single “Kod tvoje devojke“ was released soon after with the controversial video gaining huge media attention.
