A soundtrack to a non-existent comic book
A dog can have his tricks, but he can’t escape his own instinct. Yuri Runs (Amsterdam) has been showing all the classic ‘I’m-gonna-be-a-musician-when-I-grow-up’ signs from when he was just a little pup. Back in the days, he was all about guitars and howled along to all of his fave bands - Oasis, The Offspring, Radiohead. His parents could bark as loud as they wanted, this bastard wouldn’t shut up. Later on he discovered hip-hop and house and fell in love with bouncy rhythms, something to wag his tail to. The dawgs of the house got really freaking tired of Yuri Runs by then, so he left the nest.
That’s when he started to produce his own beats. Pretty fucking unique beats if we may say so. A mix of hip-hop, grime, dance, rock and 2step. Yuri found his signature sound in blending his favorite genres into a delicious music brew of meat, rice and a soft boiled egg. Man, you know all dogs love that! Put that on the doormat and the whole neighbourhood will be at your front porch within seconds. Drooling, insanely frenzied nutters who are ready to move!
Like every dog, Yuri is loyal to the bone. He’s the gift that keeps on giving, the bone that’s never finished, the walk that never ends.
We know there’s not much going on in that head of yours. After all you’re just a good boy, so let us teach you a new command: follow this bastard.
