Gamei is a pagode group originally formed by a group of friends from Zona Sul, composed of Luizinho on pandeiro, Rod on surdo, Osnir on cavaquinho and Pedro on violão. After the success of their parties, they decided to pursue a career as a musical group and released two singles that were well received by the public.
In 2022, the band underwent a lineup change with the addition of Paulinho as their new lead vocalist. Since then, the group has released eight new tracks, including their latest release "Para de Fugir" featuring the special participation of singer Rodriguinho.
