I did not choose to make music. My parents put me on the waiting list at the Montreuil Music Conservatory at the age of 3: "It's a universal language, you'll make music". Unable to argue against it, I stepped in a machine from which I would only emerge 25 years later! Mi Man was the stage name my bass player came up with when we were 13 and started a heavy metal band in the poorly ventilated basement of HBS studios. I was playing very badly at the time so I was the man who played Mi notes. Bringing back this name is for me the opportunity to have a new identity after several releases under my own name, but it is also to give this new project the energy and the vigor of the solo guitarist I was a decade ago.
