High Jack is a french progressive metal band based in Paris.
Their first album ‘The Iron God’ is a passionate science-fiction tale firmly rooted in 70s progressive rock, that embodies the modern challenges from AI and technological progress to environmental preservation.
5 years after, High Jack takes a radical turn, opting for a resolutely modern and more catchy approach. Drawing influences from styles as varied as groove metal, hard rock, grunge and death, High Jack's unique progressive metal now sets its own course. The destination ? A rich journey, varied but always coherent, simple in form without ever being simplistic.
In coherence the band has changed their of the line-up : while Etienne (rhythm guitar) and Guillaume (bass/screaming) retain their roles, Lancelot (formerly on drums) is now in charge of keyboards and lead vocals. In addition, in May 2023 the band welcomes Kilian as solo guitarist.
Their next single 'Echoes' is to be released on the 12th of January 2024.
