Giorgio Giampà is an award winning film music composer recently nominated for a Fenix Award (the latin american Oscars) for his work on Netflix Original and Sundance Award winner mexican film “Tiempo Compartido/Time Share” whose soundtrack album was released by hollywood record label Varèse Sarabande.
In 2014, he was nominated for an Italian Golden Globe (Il Sud è Niente), and in 2017 and 2019 he received Golden Ciak nominations (Fraulein, Il padre d’Italia, La Profezia dell’Armadillo). He was awarded for Best Score at the prestigious Kinotavr Open Russia Film Festival in 2016 (Wake Me Up).
Throughout his career, he has scored feature films, tv series, documentaries and short films from Italy, Mexico, Sweden, Russia, Canada, France, Germany, the U.K and the Emirates Arab United.
His work has led him to write music with Nic Cester (Jet) and Gyda Valtysdottir (Mùm) and to record with the Iskra String Quartet (The XX, Radiohead, Olafur Arnalds).
Giorgio is currently represented by Los Angeles’ First Artists Management (Carter Burwell, Vangelis, Craig Armstrong) and endorsed by Focal, Studiologic and Eko.
