"The A-Side" is coming out on March 11th on Autektone!
Coming originally from the harder sounds of electronic dance music, where he started with different aliases in 2006, Nick found his passion for Techno music in 2015. This slower kind of electronic music brought him satisfaction regarding mixing the music and its vibe and effect to the crowd. Nick established his NICK ACID project in 2020 and immediately started releasing music under his new alias.
After releasing tracks on Triton Recordings, a collaboration with Miss N-Traxx and starting his own radio show „Triton Radio“, NICK ACID also started his own Twitch channel in 2022, where he did shows from time to time.
His „Kalypso E.P.“ was released in May 2022 on the famous Autektone Dark by T78. In July 2022 he released his track "XTC" on Neptun Records , that earned some early support by the likes of Anela, Kevin de Vries, Bassner, Gerard H, Slam, DJ Thera or Brisk. In August Nick Acid released his peak time Acid Techno track "Acid Baby" on the legendary StraightOn Black label, that also received some great support by A*S*Y*S, Kutski, Kerstin Eden, Ulli Brenner, Mark EG, Ganesh or Proteus.
The month of October 2022 was also filled with great new releases. NICK ACID released a remix together with Miss N-Traxx for STONIE's "Turntables Turn" on Neptun Records and his single "Ignorance & Greed" on US-label "HQN Recordings". On top of that, NICK ACID released his final track of the year 2022 "Nothingness" in November on Australian "Hungry Koala Records".
2023 started with a new 303 release again on US-label "HQN Recordings". The track is called "Weltraumengel" and it’s a combination of peak time Acid-Techno with a cosmic celestial chorus. The track was released officially on March 3rd and gained support by none other than Danny Avila, who has played the track in his Mainstage Techno radio show.
Nick continued releasing tracks on Neptun Records, where his single “Stars” came out in April and the collaboration “The Future” with DeeStylez in June 2023.
His single “Oldschool Vibe” was released on September 4th, where Nick returned to StraightOn Black, followed by a solo track called “3.0.3.” which was just released on his home label “Neptun Records”. That gained support by the likes of Marie Vaunt, MOTVS, StoKed, Tony Romanello, Paco Osuna or Anna Reusch.
Nick kicks off 2024 with a new collab release with Miss N-Traxx. “The A-Side” will be released on March 11th on none other label than T78’s AUTEKTONE main imprint
