My vision is to create, perform and record music that aids in the healing of the human spirit, is rooted in heartfelt soulfulness, and guided by intuition.
Danny Carroll is a seasoned Manitoba artist and performer. At the core of all of the music he composes and plays is a soulful expression of musically ‘thinking in sound’. His original music combines many different genres (jazz, neo-classical, classical-crossover, electronic soundscapes) and improvisation into a very accessible and unique musical voice.
Danny’s music has been heard in many theatre productions: Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, Prairie Theatre Exchange, Manitoba Theatre for Young People, and Winnipeg Jewish Theatre. He has also created music for children’s choir, film, and corporate videos.
Danny is a gigging pianist. He played often at the Hotel Fort Garry lounge for 18 years. Danny has played for musical theatre shows as rehearsal pianist and /or Music Director, and is inducted in the Wall of Fame at Rainbow Stage (Canada’s largest outdoor musical theatre venue).
Danny has a Bachelor of Music (Composition) and Masters in Education.
KEYS FOR TRANSFORMATION is his debut album of original material.
