I'm making music with more passion than ever!!! Come with me in this journey!
Harvesting over 40 million streams and over 4 million listeners worldwide, Franco Sattamini is emerging as an ambassador of the continuity of Bossa Nova’s movement. Franco’s new upcoming show reflects exactly this scenario: “A Nova Bossa Nova”!
Franco Sattamini is a singer-songwriter, producer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist and touring artist. Brazilian born, Italian family, he now lives in the beautiful hip beach town destination of Búzios, trading his hometown Rio de Janeiro for a more quiet and poetic scene, away from the big city rush.
His long list of credits goes from Grammy nominated recordings and award-winning CDs to world touring and TV and Theatre scoring.
He signs and co-signs over 80 titles of Brazilian TV shows’ soundtracks.
Franco worked and collaborated with the very creators of the Bossa Nova movement. Greats such as Antonio Carlos Jobim and Roberto Menescal, among many other Brazilian and American luminaires, such as Phil Woods, David Liebman, Danilo Caymmi, Robertinho de Recife, Fagner, Simone, Joana, Rita Lee, Sá & Guarabira, Pepeu Gomes, Sandra de Sá, Guilherme Arantes, Flávio Venturini, Orlando Morais, Wando, Alceu Valença, Roupa Nova, Batacoto, Elymar Santos, Pery Ribeiro, Chitaozinho e Xororó, Sérgio Reis, Emilio Santiago, Vanuza, Zé Augusto, Xuxa, Romero Lubambo, Luiz Avellar, Torcuato Mariano and the list goes on.
Quoted by BMI as one of the top singer-songwriters of the NY area, Franco Sattamini “locks himself in his studio”, dives in deep usually playing and singing all instruments and vocal tracks, and music comes out as a catharsis process.
