From Latin America , Carl Nunes began producing at the age of 17 when the EDM scene was not well known in his territory.
Now at 23, with releases on labels like Armada , Pinkstar and Black Hole, Carl has developed a unique Progressive / House sound with support from well known artists on the genre like W&W, Thomas Gold , EDX , First State , Kyau and Albert and many others.
Carl has managed to be part of Beatport Top 100 several times and put his singles on the # 1 spot on radio and iTunes listings in his country.
Besides producing , Carl has had the opportunity to be the opening act for Armin Van Buuren, Avicii , Steve Aoki , Dash Berlin, Cosmic Gate, Andy Moor, Roger Shah and others. Plus he made his first appearance in the U.S. at the legendary Club Cielo in New York.
In 2013 he released his single "We Are" in Guatemala, that song established him as one of the country's most renowned DJs . The single gets a lot of attention, radial rotation and achieved first place in charts and Itunes sales in his country.
2014 is looking good for the Guatemalan DJ starting the year with private shows in Guatemala and traveling to New York to perform at a private Live Life NY event, to Miami for private events as well and with the successful release of 2 new singles.
Nunes is currently working on his album and promoting his music all over Central America.
