Since the success of Giovanca’s first three albums, Subway Silence (2008), While I’m Awake (2010) and Satellite Love (2013), the singer is an established figure in the Dutch pop, soul and jazz music scenes.
With her warm soulful sound, Giovanca has a vibe reminiscent of 1970s American music, when the likes of Minnie Ripperton and Diana Ross reigned supreme. Yet she still retains her own unmistakeable sound.
As one of the greatest talents in the Netherland she has long been
allocated her place on the jazz radio playlists around the world and at the most important
festivals in Europe and Asia.
