Shania is a singer songwriter from London, UK. At just 21 years old Shania has been recognised by musicians such as Clairo. As well as popular music blogs including EarMilk as being full of soft, melodic and ethereal vibes. Her unique sound found through listening to artists throughout the years such as AURORA and Melanie Martinez . Shania’s brand of bittersweet synth strings and layered vocals will make you want to float away on a dream cloud. As shown through tracks including ‘Lilac’ and 'Pear'.
Shania’s musical journey first began at a young age when Shania's song ‘Choices’ captured the attention from popular radio station, BBC Radio London. Resulting in Shania being invited to perform the original song live on the Dotun Adebayo show. From this, Shania appeared on other stations and shows, such as the BBC show, The Scene and Tribe Urban Radio.
In the summer of 2020 Shania released her debut EP titled 'Bloom', following on from her previous single 'No Explanation'. An energetic, yet mellow synth pop project detailing the story of falling from happiness and deciding to ‘Bloom’ again. Produced by Koloto. Supporting this, in the same summer Shania featured on 'Ur Type'. A house/dance single produced by UK producer Martin Badder, which released on Circus Recordings. Receiving love from BBC Radio 1.
Now Shania is in the midst of writing her next project.
