Carlo Gambino has been DJ’ing since the mid 90’s and has played at many of the world’s best loved dance floors taking in places like New York, Paris, Copenhagen, Boston, Melbourne, Norway, Washington, Italy, Ibiza plus playing throughout the UK and now his home base of Sydney, Australia.
Carlo's DJ career spans well over 2 decades with his production career now also well into double figures gaining support from many A-listers including Raresh, Chris Stussy, Silverlining, Archie Hamiliton, Barac, East End Dubs, Jaden Thompson, Seth Troxler to name but a few.
Carlo has released on some heavyweight labels throughout his career such as Cinthie’s ‘We_R_House’, Franck Roger’s ‘Real Tone’, Okain’s ‘Ball Park Records’, Clara Da Costa’s ‘Jack House’, Eddy Leader’s ‘Hudd Traxx’, Mihai Popoviciu’s ‘Cyclic Records’ and ‘Hedzup’ Records out of Paris.
It was in 2011 when Carlo launched his very own label, 'Midnight Social Recordings' with artists such as Diego Krause, Jay Tripwire, Ray Mono, Dudley Strangeways and Al Bradley amongst others who have all released on the label. The label is now at over 80 releases since it was launched 13 years ago with also a string of vinyl only release’s also in the bag that have come from non-other than other Tommy Vicari, Adam Collins and Grant Dell.
It was in 2017 when Carlo decided to leave the UK and head to a sunnier climate, that being Sydney. Since his move 7 years ago Carlo has continued with his label and also his productions with a continuous flow of releases. Carlo is also a regular player at a number of legendary parties including ‘SASH’ and The Breakfast Club’ in Melbourne and has played throughout Australia at the likes of Subsonic Festival, Sky Dance Festival, The Civic, The Greenwood Hotel, The Abercrombie and Home.
