Reformed in 2016, Esprit D'Air is an award-winning Japanese metal solo project led by multi-instrumentalist Kai. Esprit D'Air released their debut album Constellations in 2017, and won 'Best Metal Album' at the Independent Music Awards judged by Slayer, Sepultura, and Amy Lee of Evanescence.
In 2022, Esprit D'Air released their second album Oceans, entering six Official Charts, peaking at #8 in the Top 40 Rock and Metal Albums and #5 in Album Downloads. The album contains fan favorites Leviathan, Nebulae, and 津波, as well as having features from Ben Christo of The Sisters of Mercy and Ryo Kinoshita of Crystal Lake on a couple of tracks.
Esprit D'Air is currently selling out their UK & Europe 2023/2024 tour dates.
