She may have been the most followed woman on Vine, starred in multiple movies and TV shows, and become one of the most celebrated social media stars in Latin entertainment, but before all that, Lele Pons was a singer. Trained in classical opera at the age of 3, music has always been a core part of Pons’ life, and so to those who know her best, it was unsurprising with in 2018 she released debut, double-platinum single ‘Dicen’ with Matt Hunter, followed by triple-Platinum and Premio Lo Nuestro-nominated ‘Celoso’. More music followed: ‘Telefono’, ‘Bloqueo’, ‘Los Puti’, ‘Sucio y Lento’, ‘Bubble Gum’, ‘Piketonia’, and in 2021, with iconic supergroup Black Eyed Peas and rapper Saweetie, ‘Hit It’. However, it was her work with Puerto Rican singer and rapper Guaynaa that was to prove most successful for Pons, professionally and personally. ‘Se To Nota’ was one of 2020’s biggest singles, gaining millions of streams, charting globally, and by the start of 2024, racking up a gargantuan 460 million YouTube views. The couple became engaged in 2022, becoming one of the hottest commodities in Latin entertainment. Tying the knot in the Spring of 2023, they released album ‘Capitulaciones’ (‘Marriage Contract’ in English) on Interscope to widespread acclaim. January 2024 sees Pons continue to blaze a musical trail, releasing ‘Las Burbujas del Jacuzzi’ with Spanish singer India Martinez and Colombian singer Greeicy. Confirming more new work to come as the year unfolds.
