Konrad Dycke, a Freiburg native, has been in love with music all his life. Growing up in an environment enriched with classical music, he started taking piano lessons at the age of six. Later on he would learn how to play the trumpet and joined a symphony orchestra. Additionally, he learned to play other musical instruments such as drums, bass, guitar, and percussion.
At the raw age of 16, he started producing dub, chillout, and nujazz tracks. His musical journey included playing in many bands where he discovered his love for jazz, reggae, and krautrock.
Since music is as essential to him as oxygen, he made his passion his job - he currently works as a piano teacher and sound engineer since 2010. He also teaches music theory and mixing/mastering at a Swiss school. His holistic approach to music materializes in the way he teaches music and mixes sound.
Since 2011, he takes audiences on wonderful journes into deep house, tech house, and techno with just a touch of melodic vibes. The imposing but subtle bass lines go in perfect harmony with some peculiar vocals and cheeky hi-hats.
Expect the unexpected from Konrad, always switching between a soft touch and a more powerful direction, between melodic and straight-forward sounds, always keeping the listener intrigued and wanting more.
