EXCLUSIVEGeordie Shore stars reveal jaw-dropping secret rule about on-screens fights - and the grisly injury that left Kyle Christie dripping with blood
Geordie Shore returned to our screens for its 25th series earlier this week.
The new season sees the cast jet off to Thailand as part of Kyle Christie's stag-do celebrations.
Earlier this week Ricci Guarnaccio, 38, Nathan Henry, 33, and Chantelle Connelly, 35, teased to fans what to expect - including that the lads come to blows in some heated exchanges.
Over the years the Geordie Shore cast have got into some very fiery fights, which have even resulted in security getting involved.
But nowadays the stars are a little more wary of what they do while filming after a secret rule was introduced a number of years back.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline at the show's new series launch party at Thai Square in London earlier this week, James said: 'I think we know now, we know our limits.
Geordie Shore's James Tindale has opened up about the show's shocking rule about on-screen rules - as well as the gruesome injury co-star Kyle Christie suffered with
There have been a number of fiery fights on the reality programme since it premiered in 2011
The reality show has returned to Paramount+ and MTV for its 25th series
'Back in the day when we first started there wasn't really any rules and we thought we could just do what we want, and then they started bringing fines in.'
Kyle Christie chimed in: 'They started bringing in, you punched someone and you're off the show so you can't assault someone.'
He added: 'At the start they wouldn't kick you off the show, they'd just fine you... £10,000.'
James explained: 'Back in the day one of us went to hit the other one, if we hit them we'd get a £10,000 fine.'
Chloe Ferry chimed in: 'TV is a lot more serious now, you've always got to be aware.
'Which is hard for me because I always get paralytic.'
Fans have already been treated to the first two episodes of the reality show.
Despite their being lots of drama, there were some less tense times, including when James got Kyle to dress up in a number of hilarious outfits.
Fans have already been shown Kyle's leather outfit in a sneak peek of the new series
The cast jetted off to Thailand to celebrate Kyle's stag-do
And one of his ideas ended up with Kyle having a gruesome injury.
James told us: 'I think you've seen the clip where he's wearing the leather one, but one night...
'So Kyle's partner she was Miss Newcastle, like a pageant queen, so I dressed them up as Miss Newcastle.
'So he had a blonde wig on a full dress and a sash, but the worst one was when he got chained to Scotty T for the night.'
Kyle added: 'Scott's got really bad ADHD, throwing his arms up so my arm, I had blood around here [his wrist]
'Then he threw the key away.'
James added: 'Whilst he was chained up he wanted to go on the pull as well!'
The last series saw the plenty of drama amongst the girls, especially between Marnie Simpson and Charlotte Crosby.
It got so frosty that Charlotte dramatically quit the show just two days into filming.
But this time around it was the complete opposite.
Ricci told us earlier this week: 'There's a lot more going on with the lads this time, than the girls.
'You can tell... by what MTV are dropping that it's a lot more lad-orientated, the time before in Cyprus, it was the girls.
'I don't think you could ever imagine the bust-ups and the drama between the lads that happened in this series.
'It's never happened ever - even from the days when I first in it as well with Gaz and Jay. It's probably the biggest bust-up.'
He added: 'There's a lot more stuff going on with the lads this time that you wouldn't expect ever and it's throughout as well.'
