Beloved Netflix romcom announces return to screens - and new series is just months away from hitting screens

A beloved Netflix romcom has announced its return to screens and the new series is just months away from hitting screens.

To All The Boys I've Loved Before spin-off show XO, KITTY captivated fans with its first season last year, shooting to number one on the streaming giants charts.

It was renewed for its second season just four weeks after it raked in 72 million hours of viewing worldwide in its first week, according to Netflix’s internal figures.

Season two of XO, KITTY will be available to stream on Netflix on January 16, 2025.

The show follows the youngest Song Covey sister, Kitty, played by Anna Cathcart, as she attends KISS, an elite international school in Seoul, South Korea.

It is the same school her mother attended but also where her crush, Dae, currently goes to school which was one of her key motivations for uprooting her life to go there.

Throughout season one, we see Kitty encounter all the trials and tribulations that come with being a teenager - boy troubles, friendship woes and dreaded school work.

The first season ended with Kitty finding herself in a love square of sorts when she broke up with her boyfriend Dae after she started to catch feelings for her rival-turned-friend Yuri.

But Kitty didn't get to confess her feelings to Yuri because his ex-girlfriend Julianna reappeared on the scene.

To make things even more complicated, Kitty's former enemy and reluctant roommate Min Ho revealed that he has feelings for her.

Kitty then got expelled for breaking the rules when school officials caught her celebrating her grades in the hallway of the boys dorm and learned that was where she had been living all semester.

Fans were concerned when they watched Kitty fly back to America in the final scene but they will be delighted to know that she is returning to Seoul for season two.
