Every month this year has smashed new global heating records. 2023 is the hottest year in over 100,000 years.

“The era of global warming has ended; the era of global boiling has arrived” said the UN Secretary-General in July this year.

And yet, in the year and a half since winning the federal election, our Government has approved four new coal projects with over 100 potential fossil fuel projects in the pipeline.

Scientists have delivered a ‘final warning’ in order to limit global heating — no new fossil fuel projects. But the Australian Government isn’t listening.
