Introducing Claygent Neon
Six months ago, our team introduced Claygent, an AI web researcher, to the world. We have been amazed by the creative ways our community has used Claygent for a wide range of research applications, helping teams accomplish tasks that used to take hours of manual work in minutes.
With Claygent, our goal was to help users go beyond the limitations of traditional data providers, turning the entire internet into their canvas for prospecting and go-to-market research.
Today, we are thrilled to announce the next evolution of Claygent: Neon. Read more about it below, or watch this video for a live demo and walkthrough!
Find Employee Headcount by Country
You can search companies by their LinkedIn URL, domain, SalesNav URL, or SalesNav ID. There’s also over 10+ ways to filter your headcount including department, title, years of experience, location, education, and more!
Improved Google Maps source
To enable this, turn on the Preferred Google API toggle in the Google Maps source. This costs 1 credit per result. If you prefer not to use any credits, you can turn this toggle off and use the old version of this source, which is still free and still limited to 200 sparser results.
LeadMagic Mobile Number Finder
You can now use LeadMagic to find mobile numbers, find work emails, and validate emails! Find it in the enrichment panel, or in the mobile number and work email waterfalls.
Magic Column
Hello beautiful Clay people! We're very excited to announce the full release of a new feature colloquially known as "Magic Column"!
Magic Column is a new way to access enrichments! Simply type in a description of the type of data you're looking for and press the button! A relevant enrichment will (hopefully) show up. This feature is still a work in progress. We've added a feedback banner to the enrichments that are shown through Magic Column, receiving feedback is key to improving the results!
Looking forward to seeing what results everyone searches up, and we'll be working diligently to improve the feature as feedback comes in. Happy searching + enriching!
Workflows
Hi folks!
Workflows help you manage end to end GTM pipelines, directly within Clay. They are designed to help guide you through, and streamline your prospecting efforts.
You can create your first Workflow in the Clay homepage.
With this initial release, we are supporting three primary Workflows:
1. Cold outreach to people
2. Cold outreach to people at companies
3. CRM enrichment
Keep posted! New updates to Workflows are in progress as we speak 🤠

Editable Waterfalls
PSA: Waterfalls are now editable!!!
We’ve all been there. You ran a waterfall to check the results, and then after checking the results, realized you wanted to reorder, add, or remove providers and rerun … only to realize you just had to recreate the whole waterfall.
NO LONGER!
Now, you can now edit any waterfall (to add, remove, or replace providers/ validation providers) and re-run the same one instead! Just click on the waterfall result column and then “Edit Column”! Here's a video with a full walkthrough. Quick note: all provider columns will now be hidden by default but you can use the "Hide Providers" toggle to turn this off on initial setup or subsequent editing!
P.S - You can now also delete an entire waterfall by just deleting the result field too.
Gemini Integration
Releasing the integration of Google Gemini. You can now use Google's LLM chat model to generate responses, emails, and text in Clay.
Anthropic Claude Integration
Releasing the integration of Anthropic's Claude AI. You can now use the Claude AI chat model to generate responses, emails, and text in Clay.
Semantic Search in the Enrichments Panel
Adding the ability for improved search results in the Enrichments Panel. The search is now powered by a combination of Lexical (keyword) and Semantic Search. This allows for longer form search queries to be entered into the search input bar.
The results aren't perfect, but that's where you (the users) come in! I've added the ability to provide feedback on each of the rows listed in the search results. To make searching for enrichments better, it would greatly help us if everyone would 1) try typing in queries longer than 2 words and 2) click on the "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" buttons to give feedback on your satisfaction with the results being shown. Looking forward to seeing what all queries everyone types in, thanks!
Exciting news! In-platform referrals for all workspaces
Users will now have in-platform referrals enabled for all of their workspaces. You now have access to a unique referral link through each of your workspaces. When a new user signs up with this referral link and activates a paid account with Clay, both the referrer and the referred user will automatically receive 3,000 credits towards their respective workspace credit balances.
Users will be able to track their referral history and credits earned for each workspace in their workspace settings, under a new 'Referrals' tab 🥳
Auto-dedupe
Configure your table such that duplicates records are automatically deleted. This will help keep the data in your table clean while also reducing spend on accidentally enriching the same record twice!
Automate LinkedIn messages with La Growth Machine
Once you've set up a LinkedIn message campaign and an audience in La Growth Machine, you can send leads from Clay to an LGM audience using the Create Lead LGM action. You can pass LGM up to 10 custom attributes per lead, so you can personalize the message you send them. You can also look up a lead in LGM from Clay with the Search Lead action. You'll find these two actions in the enrichment panel. One thing to watch out for - La Growth Machine only accepts strings as custom attributes, not numbers, booleans, or any other data type.Check out the video to see it in action. Let us know if you have any questions!
Increases in Clay's Find People Searches
There's a big upgrade to Clay's people search. We've bumped all of the search limitations to the following:

- 5,000 profiles for the Starter plan
- 25,000 profiles for the Explorer plan
- 50,000 profiles for the Pro plan
Happy people finding ❤️
Get suggested enrichments for your tables
Now Clay will suggest useful and common enrichments that you can add to your table based on existing columns. Right now only 15 of the top enrichments can be suggested, but we'll be continuously adding more and more 😊
Pull in data from any actor with Apify
Clay's new Apify source can pull in data from any specified actor run or just the latest actor run. You can use it to simplify your workflows by eliminating the need to use Make.com as an intermediary tool to get Apify data into Clay.
You can find it in the Source Modal under "other". One thing to note is that if you'd like your table to automatically updated with all data from subsequent future runs from an actor, you shouldn't specify a particular run as an input. Learn more here 👇
Get more website data with Semrush's Get Traffic Analytics
You can now get information like users, visits, traffic rate, and bounce rate for a URL. Better yet- break down these results by device type, channel, and paid vs organic.
We support domains, subdomains, and subfolders; you can get specific results for app.mywebsite.com or mywebsite.com/blog 🤯
Try the Semrush enrichment out by adding it from the enrichments panel. Check out this wonderful video to see it in action 👊
Find more data with Clay's new enrichment search UI
The Enrichments Panel has a new and improved UI! It's drastically different than the old UI, with the aim being to better surface what enrichments are available in the product.
The new Enrichments Panel contains different subsections, categorized to make it easier for users to find what they need. The idea behind the change was to explicitly surface "what" is possible in the product in the first view. Upon clicking a card / pill in the first view, options are provided to show "how" a user can complete their desired task. Attributes, Integrations, Recipes, and Providers are all present in the new panel (hopefully in a way that makes using them easier and more obvious). The same search panel UI still exists, with a search bar near the top of the panel.
The panel can be accessed via the "Enrich Data" button in the top right corner of a table, or via the "Add Column" button on the right most column of each table.
More Salesforce records
Now, when you start a table with records from Salesforce, you're no longer limited to 2000 records!
The only exception for this is when you're creating a Clay table from a SOQL-incompatible Salesforce view, in which case you're still limited to 2000 records. SOQL-incompatible views are relatively rare.
For more details on them, check out this in-depth discussion linked below.
