Community Groups

You are not meant to do life alone! At CA Church, Community Groups exist to grow friendships, foster deep community, and to continually encourage and support one another to live with and like Jesus, together. We meet in homes throughout the week to engage with Scripture, pray for one another, share the love of God in practical ways, and have fun!

If you are looking to join a group, we encourage you to register for an upcoming GroupLink event.

What is GroupLink?
GroupLink is designed to gather people together with the hope that groups would organically form through interaction. At a GroupLink event, you will have the opportunity to gather and form a casual group with others who share similar schedules. You will be given the opportunity to have conversations with many others - mimicking an atmosphere of what a typical community group meeting would look like.
Once your group is formed and have decided on which day and time you intend on meeting during the week, your group is given our church formative group guide which helps facilitate discussion over the weeks of meeting. We ask that you commit to your group for a period of six weeks.

Support Groups

CA Church offers a number of support groups for different seasons of life that require a helping hand and a space to share with others going through similar experiences.

DivorceCare

Separation or divorce is a painful and stressful experience. DivorceCare exists so that you don’t have to go through it alone by providing a supportive group of people who are navigating similar changes on a journey toward healing and restoring hope.

DivorceCare meets Tuesday evenings at CA Church: Mariner Campus. Each session you will watch a different video on a divorce/separation and recovery subject and have an opportunity to process what you are learning and experiencing with the group.

Our vision is to provide a space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood in times of loss. GriefShare is where people who are experiencing the loss of a spouse, child, family member, or friend can come and meet with others who are also grieving loved ones.

Let the church be what God intended for it to be; lean on us, and come to GriefShare.

Thrive

Thrive is a safe space for parents and caregivers to talk about the joys and challenges of raising a neurodiverse or differently abled child. The goal is to build community, bring biblical insight, offer encouragement and pray for one another. There will be a specific topic for focused discussion each month, centred on relationships.

Thrive is facilitated by parents with lived experience of raising a neurodiverse or differently abled child and is focused on providing community, not therapy. Childcare can be provided. Please register in advance to ensure we have enough childcare workers.
