a note about bonnie’s
i was born and raised here in brooklyn, ny and grew up trying to be as american as possible. it took a while, but i’m finally embracing the culture i once rejected growing up as a chinese american kid. i hope to be a part of this new wave of chinese american cooks pursuing and contributing to the evolution of cantonese food with bonnie’s, which is named after my mommy. everything i know about cantonese food i learned from her and i can’t wait to share this food with you.
