Watch villagers demolish community flower garden
A couple have been criticised by fellow villagers after pulling all the plants out of a newly erected community flowerbed outside their home.
Wind turbine company director Mike Hodgson and his partner Shirin Poostchi were caught on camera destroying the garden area in Gwaenysgor, Flintshire, as other residents sat on the structure in an attempt to stop them.
It comes amid an ongoing planning dispute between Mr Hodgson and the local community, after he moved into the village about 10 years ago.
He told the Daily Mail it was the result of a long conflict and they had not been aggressive, the flowerbed encroached on his business property and was made from non-environmentally friendly materials.
