WROZ is 101.3 The Rose in Lancaster, Pennsylvania serving Lancaster, York and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It can also be heard in Berks County, Pennsylvania south of Reading. They play recent adult contemporary music like Rob Thomas, The Fray, Daughtry, Gwen Stefani, Nickelback, and Sheryl Crow just to name a few. They position themselves as 101 The Rose "An Upbeat Variety of The 80s, 90s, and Today." They play mostly music from the 1980s, 1990s, and today. They can be considered a "Bright AC" playing more upbeat tunes than a "typical" AC station. This station ranks high in the Lancaster and York markets and the station claims it is "the number one at work radio station."

The Rose is one of three FM radio partners of WGAL-TV 8, in which any type of news or weather story comes to them via Channel 8. This is a high mark because WGAL is one of the most watched TV stations in the area and one of the most respected. WROZ is also the designated Emergency Alert System station for Lancaster County where all the emergency information such as tornado warnings airs on The Rose automatically.

Flashback Friday [link]

Every Friday, they dedicate the airwaves to all 80s and early 90s with "Flashback Friday." On Friday, June 26 the station extended their Flashback feature to 24 hours (it would cut off at 7 pm on Fridays for the now-cancelled Delilah program). One weekend out of the month, they dedicate the whole weekend to the 1980s and 1990s with a "Flashback Weekend."

Every year, around mid-November they position themselves as "Central PA's Christmas Station, playing wall-to-wall holiday favorites to usher in the busy holiday season. The sounds of the seasons include standards, instrumentals, and contemporary favorites. They are consistently ranked high during this period and frequently get tons of advertisers to air their holiday ads on the air. Most frequent artists for the holiday season include Trans Siberian Orchestra, Amy Grant, Hanny Connick, Jr, Manhattan Transfer, and Jose Feliciano.

Sunday nights The Rose features the Melissa Etheridge Show from 7:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. Etheridge speaks about freely about her life, offers insight and interacts with listeners.
