Valerie Cruz

Valerie Cruz (born July 18, 1976) is an American actress.

Cruz was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey of Cuban ancestry. She attended Florida State University and received a BFA theatre degree.

Career

She has appeared in films such as Cellular and played Grace Santiago in Nip/Tuck. She played a main character in Nip/Tuck, but she left the show just after the first season. She has made guest appearances in series such as Grey's Anatomy and Las Vegas. In 2007, she appeared as Connie Murphy, a tough Chicago police detective, in SciFi Channel's adaptation of The Dresden Files. The show lasted for one season.

She has also played Maria Nolan on the CW's Hidden Palms. In 2008, she appeared in season three of Dexter, playing Sylvia Prado, the wife of Assistant District Attorney Miguel Prado (Jimmy Smits).

In 2009, she appeared in the horror film The Devil's Tomb and the HBO series True Blood, in which she played the part of Isabel. In 2009, she also played Olivia in the film La Linea. In 2010 she became part of the cast of the ABC drama Off the Map, which was canceled by ABC On May 13, 2011 . In 2011 she had a recurring role as a Homeland Security agent in the Syfy series Alphas. In 2012, she played an evil doctor in the "Organ Grinder" episode of Grimm; the wife of a dictator in the "Enemy of the State" episode of Scandal; and an investigator for the football league in the episode "Spell It Out" of Necessary Roughness. She also starred on The Following as Agent Gina Mendez.

Terrence Mann

Terrence Vaughan Mann (born July 1, 1951) is an American actor, director, singer, songwriter and dancer who has been prominent on the Broadway stage for the past three decades. He is a distinguished professor in musical theater at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina.

Biography

Early years

Mann was born Terrence Vaughan Mann in Ashland, Kentucky, the eldest son of Helen Mann and Charles Mann. Mann's mother was a concert pianist, and his father sang in a barbershop quartet. Music was always a part of his growing up, so singing came naturally to him. But it was the multiple pleasures of the stage that drew him to the world of theater.

In an interview with the Hartford Courant, in his own words, "When I was doing the junior class play — it was called 'In Deadly Earnest' — at the end of a scene, the script said, 'They kiss.' It was then that I honestly thought, 'I'm going to be in the theater!' I was fascinated with having words put in my mouth and that someone would say something back to me that would get us to a moment where we ended up in a kiss. I remember when my school counselor asked me what I wanted to do, I said without hesitation, 'Go into the theater!'"

Raoul Bhaneja

Raoul Bhaneja (Hindi: रौल भनेजा; born 6 June 1974) is an English-Canadian actor, musician, writer and producer. His father is South Asian and mother is Irish. He has appeared in over seventy five different film and television projects along with a long list of theatre productions. A graduate of The National Theatre School of Canada and Canterbury High School's Arts Canterbury programme for drama, he was one of the stars of the television series Train 48, which produced over 300 episodes in two years and was broadcast on Global. His first job in television was in the first season of the 1996 cutting edge comedy The Newsroom, directed by Ken Finkleman for CBC. That was followed by his first starring role in a feature film, Extraordinary Visitor in 1998 directed by John Doyle opposite Andy Jones and Mary Walsh. Other features include Atom Egoyan's Ararat, The Sentinel opposite Michael Douglas, Touch of Pink with Jimi Mistry and Kyle MacLachlan, Weirdsville with Scott Speedman and Wes Bentley and more recently the 2013 romantic comedy The Right Kind of Wrong opposite Ryan Kwanten and Will Sasso. The Dresden Files (TV series)

The Dresden Files is a Canadian/American television series based on the fantasy book series of the same name by Jim Butcher. It premiered January 21, 2007 on the Sci Fi Channel in the United States and on Space in Canada. It was picked up by Sky One in the UK and began airing on February 14, 2007.

The series ran for a single season of twelve episodes, and has since been released on DVD. The Sci Fi Channel announced on August 3, 2007 that The Dresden Files would not be renewed for a second season.

Paul Blackthorne

Paul Blackthorne (born 5 March 1969) is an English actor for film, television, and radio. Although born in Shropshire, England, he spent his early childhood on British Military bases in both England and Germany. Blackthorne broke into acting via television commercials in England. His breakthrough commercial in the UK came in the Grim Reaper commercial for Virgin Atlantic, which was hugely successful. Numerous radio commercials followed.

Blackthorne's first film role was in the highly successful 2001 Bollywood film Lagaan. Since then, he has mostly appeared in American films and television shows. He had recurring roles in the American series ER and 24, both in 2004, and has been a regular cast member in the series The Dresden Files (2007), in which he played the title character, as well as Lipstick Jungle (2008–09) and Arrow (2012–present).

Film

Blackthorne's first film role was as Captain Andrew Russell in the Oscar-nominated Bollywood film Lagaan. He spent six months learning Hindi for the role.
