Nip & Tuck

Nip & Tuck were a DJ and Producer collaboration between two brothers Neill and Ian Watson (aka Angmo and Gwilo). The duo first DJed together at Ministry of Sound in 2001. Their first dance production Now I Found You was released on vinyl 12" in 2002 The duo are most well known for their remix of Dawnay U Touch Me (Nip & Tuck's Funky Facelift)(WEA/ Eternal/Warner Music UK) Dawnay U Touch Me was a no. 1 single in South Africa for 22 weeks in 2001.

Nip/Tuck

Nip/Tuck is an American television drama series created by Ryan Murphy; it aired on FX in the United States from July 18, 2003 to March 3, 2010. The series focuses on "McNamara/Troy", a cutting-edge, controversial plastic surgery center—but, particularly its founders: Drs. Sean McNamara and Christian Troy (portrayed by Dylan Walsh and Julian McMahon). Each episode featured graphic, partial-depictions of the plastic surgeries of one or more patients (who requested both popular [e.g., breast augmentation] and exotic [e.g., "vaginal rejuvenation"] procedures—as well as removals of obscure skin diseases). Much of the series' drama is derived from the tumultuous personal lives of its main characters (including the doctors' loved ones).

The show premiered on July 22, 2003, and concluded on March 3, 2010, with the 100th episode. While the show was initially set in Miami, at the end of the fourth season it was relocated to Los Angeles and many of the characters have followed along. The show has earned 45 award nominations, winning one Golden Globe and one Emmy Award. Series creator Ryan Murphy has said that the medical cases on the show are "100 percent based on fact".

Nip/Tuck (season 6)

The sixth and final season of Nip/Tuck premiered on October 14, 2009 and concluded on March 3, 2010. Though a seventh season was originally set to air in 2011, the remaining nine episodes were merged into the sixth season.

Nip/Tuck is an American drama created by Ryan Murphy, which aired on FX in the United States between 2003 and 2010. Each episode typically involves the cosmetic procedures of one or more patients, and also features the personal and professional lives of its main cast.

The show began in the Summer of 2003, and concluded with the sixth season in Spring 2010. While the show was initially set in Miami, at the end of the fourth season the practice was relocated to Los Angeles and many of the characters have followed. The fifth season premiered on October 30, 2007, though production was affected by the 2007 Writers Strike. Accordingly, the second half of the fifth season was not screened until January 6, 2009 in the U.S.

The series ran for 100 episodes, concluding with the series finale on March 3, 2010. With the exception of the pilot, each episode is named after the character(s) that are scheduled to have plastic surgery.

Dylan Walsh

Dylan Walsh (born Charles Hunter Walsh: November 17, 1963) is an American actor. He portrayed Dr. Sean McNamara in the FX television series Nip/Tuck.

Early life

Walsh was born Charles Hunter Walsh in Los Angeles, California. His maternal grandfather, Frank P. Haven, was a managing editor of the Los Angeles Times. His parents worked for the Foreign Service—they met in Ethiopia. As a result, Walsh lived in East Africa, India, Pakistan and Indonesia as a boy. His family returned to the United States when he was ten years old and settled in Virginia, where Walsh began acting in high school. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1986 with a degree in English. After graduating from college, Walsh moved to New York City to act professionally.

Career

Walsh's first role was in a television movie called Soldier Boys with James Earl Jones. He then landed a role in the movie Loverboy and a regular role on the television series Kate & Allie. In 1989, he started using the name Dylan Walsh professionally. He continued to work in films including Betsy's Wedding, Nobody's Fool, Congo, The Stepfather, and Secretariat, and guest starred the television series Brooklyn South, The Twilight Zone, and Everwood.

Julian McMahon

Julian Dana William McMahon (/ˈdʒuːliən məkˈmɑːn/; born 27 July 1968) is an Australian actor and model, and the son of the former Prime Minister of Australia William McMahon.

McMahon won recognition for his roles in television dramas, in portrayals of Ben Lucini in the award-winning Australian soap drama Home and Away, as Cole Turner in the Award-winning American fantasy Charmed, Christian Troy in the award-winning American drama Nip/Tuck, and for his appearance in films with leading and supporting roles, in films such as the romantic-drama Magenta (1996), the action-superhero Fantastic Four franchise (2005 & 2007), the thriller Premonition (2007) starring alongside Sandra Bullock, the action-comedy film Red (2010) alongside Bruce Willis, and the horror Bait (2012) alongside Dan Wyllie and Xavier Samuel. McMahon's work in television, particularly with Nip/Tuck, garnered him more success. The series won an Emmy Award and a Goldeobe. McMahon played the lead role in Nip/Tuck, alongside Dylan Walsh throughout the entire series' run.

Julian McMahon (barrister)

Julian P McMahon is a Melbourne barrister, who has been the lawyer for Van Tuong Nguyen and members of the Bali Nine.

McMahon began studies at the University of Melbourne in 1986, where he was a resident at Trinity College. McMahon was a member of the college debating club known as the Dialectic Society. He was admitted to the Victorian Bar in 1998. McMahon describes his chambers as having a history of "looking after people who no-one else really wants to defend".

McMahon opposes the use of the death penalty internationally, and challenged Australian citizen Van Nguyen's execution by Singapore in 2005, along with Lex Lasry QC.

McMahon has represented the Australian citizens Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran, convicted of drug trafficking in Bali, Indonesia. McMahon, along with a team of lawyers including Todung Mulya Lubis have helped their clients prepare clemency requests, and has launched judicial reviews in an attempt to overturn their death sentences. McMahon visited the pair in Nusakambangan Island, requesting family access. In a comment to SBS Dateline, McMahon stated "they help Indonesians in prison become better people, the idea of killing two young men who do that day in and day out is just ridiculous.”
