Thanasis Pafilis (Greek: Θανάσης Παφίλης) (born 8 November 1954[1]) is a Greek politician and former Member of the European Parliament for the Communist Party of Greece from 2004 to 2009; part of the European United Left–Nordic Green Left.[1] Since 2009 he has been a member of the Greek parliament. He was born in Pitsio, Phthiotis.[1]
