I loved this class and I LOVED all the thorough information in the workbook! It was intimidating at first but not bad once you wrapped your head around it. Thank you for all the effort you put into providing links to products, ways to save money, and such a good outline of the timeline for the whole process. Can’t wait to do another class! (I had some candy cane cutouts on hand so I improvised a little, and I had extra black icing so I used it with the wreath design). Not pictured: my gingerbread man that turned out like a hot mess!
Such a cute theme! Loved learning different techniques and textures like with the basket weaves and leaf tip piping. Overall, this set just makes me very happy :)
Side note: If you don't want to purchase the individual cutters you can totally free-hand the plants as well!
Such a fun class! I would definitely say it leans more heavily on the intermediate side in terms of decorating and prep. Probably spent more than an hour on icing and consistencies and then a few hours on the cookie decorating (i'm fairly beginner level). Grace does a wonderful job explaining all the steps and I love being able to watch the step by step tiktoks of each cookie as well!
The beginner winter class was my second with Grace and won’t be my last! Down to earth, real life instruction and great tips for beautiful cookies! This was only my second experience with Royal icing, but I’m super pleased with the results!!! Thank you so much Grace.
I always wanted to learn how to decorate cookies but was always discouraged when trying to find videos online. I could never find the one I needed at the right time. After a pathetic attempt last year, I discovered The Graceful Baker beginner course this year. I greatly appreciate the way the course is organized. The photos and live links make the process quite manageable and simple to navigate. Her encouragement helped greatly when my efforts fell short of what I hoped to achieve. However, I was proud of my level of success, and I look forward to continuing my cookie decorating adventure.
