Cultural stuff
I kind of figured that my addition would be removed. Do we have a page or could we have a page for cultural stuff when something like The Goldbergs references the 1986 movie? // Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 08:47, 10 October 2021 (EDT)
- There's an ongoing discussion in the Community Portal about it. Feel free to chime in! -- Fanofcoolstuff27 (talk) 12:03, 10 October 2021 (EDT)
- Thanks, I just did! // Anythingspossibleforapossible (talk) 18:05, 10 October 2021 (EDT)
Rotorstorm Transformers Tactical Arena
The information I added was his in game bio. Do we have to put in game bio's in past tense? Bergen08 (talk) 01:23, 7 November 2021 (EST)
- Given that it was written like a normal piece of fiction, I think it makes sense to, just going by our style guide. Also, you didn't copy it whole hog from the game, did you? Because it would need rewriting/tweaking if it was copied. -- Fanofcoolstuff27 (talk) 01:33, 7 November 2021 (EST)
ATB mold templates
Just pointing out that Dreadwing and Smokescreen were the first uses of that mold. Not Megatron/Starscream. Saix (talk) 07:28, 7 December 2021 (EST)
- Oh yeah, I forgot about them. Oops. I'll fix that in a moment. -- Fanofcoolstuff27 (talk) 07:29, 7 December 2021 (EST)
Escargon
I am not of the impression you're a moderator, but I wanted to reinforce as an aside what I said about Escargon on the talkpage for Wheelie. Someone who is so ready to cuss out a new member just because they don't agree with them is probably not what you want to be seen to unconditionally approve of or equivocate with someone who was just here to express an alternative take to the apparent consensus. First time I've had someone swear at me on a wiki. Just wanted to share this with you; food for thought. --NOISEMAZE (talk) 12:50, 21 March 2022 (EDT)
- I was perfectly willing to give you a chance up until you did your weird, passive-aggressive "bless your heart" thing. Frankly, I was already put off by your opening comment being "you people are nuts," but I figured I should at least try to explain to you why we were pushing that. Everything you have said since has given my the impression that all you're really here to do is stir up trouble. I'll apologize for swearing at you, if nothing else I shouldn't have gone that far and I'll admit that, but your initial edits here don't exactly come across as being genuine. TM Rhinox pic
Would you object if I did a little reorganization of that pic to make it more horizontally-oriented to make the page layout work better? And possibly add an inset of the aqua-chrome variant? --M Sipher (talk) 23:14, 1 June 2023 (EDT)
- I have no objections. -- Fanofcoolstuff27 (talk) 00:56, 2 June 2023 (EDT)
Release dates
Those need to stay as bullet points so the dates for consistency. Having them bouncing from place to place from entry to entry is not helpful. --M Sipher (talk) 04:40, 8 September 2023 (EDT)
- My bad, I've fixed all of the immediate ones that I changed, and I'll fix the others I haven't yet as I go back through. -- Fanofcoolstuff27 (talk) 05:02, 8 September 2023 (EDT)
Additions to Design Flaws Page
Your additions to the Design flaw page need some serious paring down since they're kind of a disorganized wall of text at the moment. I'd suggest ditching the "Pin Joint" section entirely since you're talking about a random factory error, not a design flaw. Pointing out that current figures are testing grounds for cost-cutting (ie spring-less ratchet joints) has serious merit, though. I figured I'd give you a heads up instead of brutalizing it myself.MCRG (talk) 23:21, 14 October 2023 (EDT)
- I took another pass at it, and tried a different approach to the layout. I've also left it open for other people to add other examples of poorly designed joints that I can't think of off the top of my head.
- I should probably take some pictures of the little broken pieces I have lying around in a baggy somewhere with a comparison of the intact piece, just to help with the visual aspect, especially for the readers who have never taken a toy apart, and can't picture what I've attempted to describe. -- Fanofcoolstuff27 (talk) 07:51, 15 October 2023 (EDT)
