This is Apocrypha

The content of this page is considered to be apocrypha or pseudocanon. Fiction that is considered pseudocanon generally falls into one of two categories. It is most likely either unofficial fiction from an official creator that is so informative as to the creator's thought process and/or so influential to the fandom as to be worth documenting, or fiction that is published in such a way as to render it unofficial, such as fan works published as ancillary or bonus images/fiction with other official work. As such, new ideas and concepts introduced here may not hold true for work that is completely canonical.

Synopsis

Flash has been brought back to Cybertron—with an army of Sharkticons following him! He knows he has to warn the other Autobots about the Quintesson threat.

Optimus Prime has had the situation explained to him and, though barely strong enough to stand, begins taking control. Perceptor will continue his plan to neutralise the entire Aerospace Extermination Squadron via their neural network, while every other Autobot will finish the fight at Cybertron's core. Speaking of the core, down there Megatron and his forces are managing to walk all over the freed Autobots and the reborn Grimlock. Unknown to all, the Quintessons are making their move: forcibly ejecting the planet's core!

Unfortunately for the Quints, Starscream broke free when Grimlock trashed the Decepticon base last issue, and he thinks the core ejection is being done by Megatron—so he prevents it!

Prime and the other Autobots reach the battle beneath and the fight swings against Megatron. Things get even worse when two things conveniently happen at the same time: Optimus senses the presence of something else in Grimlock and that same presence grants him power, restoring him to full health; and Perceptor manages to shut down all the Squadron clones. Megatron flees, but his defeat is far from over because Flash was able to pass on proof that Megatron was dealing with the Quints, turning even the Decepticons against the tyrant!

Unfortunately, this is the last thing Flash will ever do. By the time the other Turbomasters got to him, he was damaged beyond repair...

With the Age of Internment over, Perceptor begins to rebuild Grimlock to resemble his old form. Meanwhile, the Quintessons are making a new plan: the power they wanted lay within Prime as well as the planet, and why conquer Cybertron when all they need to do is kidnap one Autobot...?

Notes

  • A victim of Dreamwave's bankruptcy and dissolution, this issue was never even written. Furman wrote a summary of it and released it along with issue 5's script in 2011.
  • Sharkticons are left on Cybertron, which explains the appearance of Gnaw in "War and Peace".
