Writer-Artist Cred
Is Nick Roche the only guy who's ever both written and illustrated an entire Transformers comic book? I know Budianski did some partial pencil layouts from time to time and Dan Khanna co-plots the fanclub comic along with Forest, but has anyone else ever done the whole thing themselves? --ItsWalky 20:02, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- Hirofumi Ichikawa? -Derik 20:17, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- Aha. Yes. I knew I must be missing something. Darn you, Linkage! --ItsWalky 20:51, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- Say first Western. Writer-artists are more common on Manga than in the west. -Derik 00:47, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
In-Joke Origins
I keep meaning to ask... how did Roche's running gag of trouser-shattering get started? --Jeysie 15:52, 30 January 2010 (EST)
"He is awesome" ?
Even for this wiki, the "He is awesome" line in the opener seems excessive. Is he so universally beloved in the fandom that such an unambiguously glowing statement is appropriate? --GrantB 13:54, 2 May 2012 (EDT)
- Yes. Those who disagree are fools. --Nu-Priest 20:47, 2 May 2012 (EDT)
- Well... I know a few people who disagree, myself included. I wouldn't question this for E. J. Su, but Roche? I don't think there's enough support for that. --GrantB 16:51, 16 May 2012 (EDT)
- Well, I beg to differ on either of those two being "awesome", but I don't see it as something we really need to get into a huge argument over. You're taking this a wee bit too seriously. --Khajidha 17:49, 16 May 2012 (EDT)
- Yeah, I'm not really sure what the guidelines are on bold-fonted purely-subjective expressions of praise, but I also know enough about wikis to know that if I deleted it someone might push back. But I thought it at least worth mentioning that I think it's a bit undeserved here without some kind of justification, no matter how flippant. --GrantB 18:38, 16 May 2012 (EDT)
- If co-writing and drawing both Spotlight: Kup and Last Stand Of The Wreckers, to say nothing of his countless contributions to the fandom prior, aren't enough justification for you, then... yeah, nothing's ever gonna convince you. --Detour 19:33, 16 May 2012 (EDT)

Spotlight Megatron
Wanted to add his art and writing credits to the page, the external links that act as citations are activating the spam filter. Can someone help me out? Antimatter 16:00, 18 February 2013 (EST)
- Using a URL shortener like tinyurl.com for links that trigger the spam filter should help. --abates 16:12, 18 February 2013 (EST)
- "The following text is what triggered our spam filter: www.youtube.com (blacklisted by multi.uribl.com.) " Apparently we have Youtube on our blacklist.... --Detour 17:18, 18 February 2013 (EST)
- Huh, that's weird. When I do a lookup on uribl.com, it's on their whitelist, not their blacklist. --abates 18:14, 18 February 2013 (EST)
- The IDW forums were on the blacklist, as well. Antimatter 18:27, 18 February 2013 (EST)

The page you wanted to save was blocked by the spam filter. This is probably caused by a link to a blacklisted external site.
The following text is what triggered our spam filter: tfwiki.net (blacklisted by multi.uribl.com.)
Return to Allspark.
- And "tfwiki" doesn't even exist as a string on the page! - SanityOrMadness 19:31, 18 February 2013 (EST)
- There's an external link to tfwiki in the stub template. Seems like uribl.com is having problems right now and is reporting all domains as bad. --abates 19:59, 18 February 2013 (EST)
- Nope on the latter part - I saved Slingshot (G1) no problem despite the various links to TFU.info and NTFA.net. Still can't save Allspark or Religion.
- Have the whitelist & blacklists been switched by mistake when they were being linked from here, perhaps? - SanityOrMadness 20:54, 18 February 2013 (EST)
- Looking into this further, I suspect that the wiki may have been blocked from querying uribl.com and the wiki is interpreting its "you're blocked" responses as "this domain you're checking is blacklisted". --abates 21:41, 18 February 2013 (EST)
- Looks like whatever the issue was, it's been fixed. --Detour 12:29, 20 February 2013 (EST)
