Shaoshao meets Safeguard and Vector Prime in another world and another time.

Synopsis

On a mechanical planet, Shaoshao Li finds herself chased by insectoid robots. Her savior comes in the form of the Mini-Con, Safeguard. He explains to the lost girl that she is on the Cybertron of a parallel world, where he is assisting the Autobots in collecting fragments of Primus's spark to save the universe from the Grand Black Hole. Shaoshao asks how she can meet Primus, but the small Transformer surprises her by saying she's standing on him—Cybertron is Primus's body.

The Kiss Player asks if there's some connection between the Allspark fragments and the "fragments" that the Autobots are collecting in this universe. Safeguard replies that two Transformers from her world were brought to this universe long ago; it would be prudent for the human to find out how they returned to their home universe, if they indeed did. If she doesn't return in time with the Allspark fragments, the future of her world may be altered.

Vector Prime, guardian of spacetime, appears before Shaoshao. Knowing what to do, the larger Transformer takes out his sword and uses it to create a hole in space. From within the rift, the same golden hand that took the Allspark fragments previously reaches out to grab Shaoshao and pulls her in!

Notes

  • Shaoshao has ended up in the events of Cybertron (specifically its original Japanese version, Galaxy Force). The exact episode is hard to pin down, but likely takes place between "Cybertron" and "Escape", when Vector Prime and Safeguard are present on Cybertron during the Scrapmetal infestation.
  • Safeguard refers to the events of Beast Wars Reborn, where Optimus Primal and Megatron are indeed pulled to the world of the Galaxy Force cartoon after their deaths at the end of Beast Machines. Their ultimate fate is left ambiguous at the end of Reborn, which is reflected here.
  • The events of this episode are covered in comic form by 15 Go! Go! issue #22.
