Its war room is called the Think-Tank, and it is equipped with a special machine called the Dimensional Interface Assembly, which can retrace trans-dimensional pathways.

Fiction

Dreamwave Generation One continuity

The resistance had tasked itself with three objectives as part of a strategy to defeat Megatron. The first objective was finding out where Optimus Prime had been transported to 1.4 million years ago and whether or not he was still alive and able to lead them. To this end, the resistance had built a Dimensional Interface Assembly to search for the missing leader, so that they only had to concern themselves with the realization of the other two objectives. Objective two consisted of obtaining an undamaged Aerospace Extermination Squadron trooper for analysis, which was carried out by a unit that kept in touch with Iacon Command through Blaster. The Age of Wrath Pt.3 Additionally, Blaster utilized Iacon Command's equipment to jam the target troopers' distress signal to Central Command. The Age of Wrath Pt.2 The final objective was dubbed "The Descent"—an attempt to free their allies imprisoned in Internment Camp Pi. Because of a discovery by Slamdance earlier, the resistance at least knew what the purpose of the labor camp was.

Around a "campfire" in Iacon Command, Slamdance retold his story to the Turbomasters until Perceptor called them to the Think-Tank to go over possible strategies... again. The Turbomasters were less than thrilled, and downright cheesed off when Perceptor left them to deal with a problem regarding the second objective's mission.

At ops-tactical, Blaster had lost contact with the retrieval team, despite that all systems were operating at maximum. Perceptor theorized that perhaps they themselves were being jammed, but the retrieval team responded soon after that they had succeeded.

Meanwhile, the Turbomasters had decided to play a game of tear'n'chase in the tunnels below Iacon Command to deal with their boredom. Flash evaded his chasers nicely and got back to the base well before them. Unfortunately, just as he passed the Dimensional Interface Assembly, it found the location it had been searching for and, through some strange anomaly, transported Flash to that very same point... The Age of Wrath Pt.3

The Age of Wrath ceased publication before the story could conclude. The following would have taken place in unpublished issues.

Flash's disappearance was detected soon, as was the cause. Perceptor analyzed the Dimensional Interface Assembly for any clue as to what had happened, but couldn't figure out what exactly had caused Flash's transportation and more so, what could be done to bring him back. He also didn't have time to work on it for long, as the retrieval team returned with Extermination Squadron trooper for Perceptor to study. The dissection yielded a surprising revelation: the clones were all powered by the same energy that runs through Transformers' bodies. The Age of Wrath Pt.4
