Hikaru Midorikawa

Hikaru Midorikawa (緑川 光 Midorikawa Hikaru, born May 2, 1968) is a Japanese voice actor and is represented by Aoni Production. While he's been voice acting since 1988, he's also a singer, part of the music group E.M.U. (Entertainment Music Unit) alongside fellow Transformers actors Ryōtarō Okiayu, Nobutoshi Canna, and Hideo Ishikawa. Hikaru is also known to play the saxophone, collects Gundam models, basketball, and dislikes sushi.
Some of Hikaru's many roles include Joe Rival from The Brave Express Might Gaine, Oliver the Great Western Engine from Thomas & Friends, Tokiya Mikagami of Flame of Recca, Firion in Dissidia: Final Fantasy, Wiserue in Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger (and numerous other Super Sentai characters), Gridman in Tsuburaya's Gridman series, and Marth in the Super Smash Bros. and Fire Emblem series. His most famous roles are that of Heero Yuy from Gundam Wing, Zelgadis Greywords from the Slayers series, Softon from Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Eiru/Seijūrō Ginga from Sailor Moon R as well Fiore in Promise of the Rose, Android 16 in Dragon Ball Z as well the current voice of Tenshinhan in the franchise and current media, and Leon Magnus/Judas from Tales of Destiny/Tales of Destiny 2.
Midorikawa is nicknamed by his fans as Green River Light, which is the literal English translation of his name.

- English voice actors Mark Hildreth, Kirby Morrow, Liam O'Brien, and Yuri Lowenthal have all dubbed and shared a few roles with Hikaru Midorikawa but so far none have shared the same Transformers role yet.
