Synopsis
The Insecticons break away from Megatron and go on a worldwide eating binge. Their consumption of GM crops causes them to grow to enormous size and power. The Autobots and Decepticons team up to stop the Insecticons before they hatch a brood of super-clones that will ravage the entire planet.
A worldwide search roots out the Insecticons from their hiding places and disperses their energy into the atmosphere before the clones can hatch.

Notes
- This event was originally scheduled to run from December 21 to December 27, but unexpected demand caused it to be shut down on its second day due to server overload. The event resumed 18 days later.
- As a result of the lacuna, several players received double rewards. Others received no or incomplete rewards. Oops! An auspicious beginning.
- The plot of this event bears a more-than-passing resemblance to the 1985 cartoon episode "The Insecticon Syndrome", albeit with some differences.
- Mirage, one of the featured Autobots in this event, went up against the Insecticons in the 1985 cartoon episode "Traitor".
- Despite an event whose premise involved an Autobot/Decepticon team-up, both of the Raid cards (representing the "player's" side) were Autobots.
- Several (but not all) of the cards in this event depict the Insecticons in different colors from normal. Powered-up versions? Clones? It's unclear. (But it's probably clones.)
