Notes
- This story was published as the October 2023 issue of the web comic and advertised Rise of the Beasts Deluxe Class Mirage and the first collected edition of Go! Go!.
Transformers references
- Mirage debuts here fresh off his star turn in the summer's blockbuster film Rise of the Beasts sporting an Earth-fied version of his War for Cybertron: Siege body (as distinct from his Kingdom toy via the shape of his race car mode's front "wings" as well as the positioning and color of his shoulder launcher, amongst other things) and a personality based on his Rise of the Beasts incarnation.
- Unusually for Oda, Mirage derives his transformation scheme from his Generation 1 toy rather than the modern toy his character model is based on. Perhaps due to the Siege toy's extensive use of faux parts?
- In a profoundly deep cut, Mirage repels the rogue Cleaning Robo with his signature liquid fuel darts introduced in his Generation 1 toy bio and not seen in fiction since 1 (one) issue of the Marvel comic in actual literal 1984.
